As I build this website about Girls and Women in Tech Careers…it is really making my ass itch
how these sites focus on encouraging girls and women to do these jobs, but they do NOT address how men in positions of authority can work to change STEM careers environments; they do not address how being “the only one” in these environments force women to change in order to keep their sanity.
Expecting gender and racial minorities to be the catalysts for change in fields that historically have excluded them is is really rich. #ummhmm.
