I beg of you to never recite pledge of allegiance again. It’s brainwashing. Think about it. We’re being taught this from the very beginning of our education. It’s one of the first things we’re taught and we recite it nearly every day for the next thirteen years. I’ve only recently realized this. I only ask you to think about what you’re saying.

Oh shit. As a little bear in East Oakland…I just realized that one of my peers in my first grade class was sent out of the room when we recited the pledge of allegiance. Every fucking day. I still remember his name too. #creepy. I wonder what that was about.
