I’m a Stanford graduate and high school valedictorian. I have no health insurance and am getting a Master’s party because I need the loan money for food and rent.
I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs in my field. Employers always say the same thing: “Amazing background, but we’ve had budget cuts and lay-offs.”
I have major depressive disorder and can’t afford meds or therapy, even though I was labelled a suicide risk in the past.
My mom has heart disease and goes off her meds because she feels guilty to ask her daughter for money. She barely eats.
